Robert "Harold" Culpepper

Robert "Harold" Culpepper, 83, died April 17, 2020 at Piedmont Midtown Hospital in Columbus GA.
Due to the public health crisis a private service will be held for immediate family members only Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Dan Rogers officiating. A public Celebration of Life Service for family and friends will be held at a date to be determined after the Covid-19 pandemic has subsided.
Robert was born on July 24, 1936 to the late John Edward Culpepper and Evia Hubbard Murihead. He was the owner and operator for Culpepper's Grocery for over 30 years, served as Deputy Coroner in Harris County, Columbus Police Officer and also a Harris County Deputy Sheriff. He was a member of the Rosehill Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita C. Beckom Culpepper and siblings, John Edward Culpepper and Elsie Stephens.
Survivors include his daughters, Janet Childers (Bill) of Fortson, GA, Starlynn Mulhall (Tom) of Fortson, GA, son, Robert "Bobby" Culpepper of Salem, AL, sisters, Audrey Kenner of Salem, AL, Mary Noorwood of Columbus, GA, Joan Click of Huntsville, AL, grandchildren, Julia Wells (Steven) and Sean Mulhall of Fortson, GA, great- grandchildren, Janelle Wells, Maddie Wells, Paisley Wells, Sawyer Addison Wells, of Fortson, GA, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
