Robert Perry Billman, 84, of Columbus, GA died Friday, December 4, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 AM, December 8, 2020 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will follow at 12:30 PM (est) at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Military Honors. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing will be required during the funeral and visitation.
Robert was born July 31, 1936 in Geneva, OH to the late Perry Jackson Billman and Maxine Stowe Billman. He was married July 2, 1957 to Lieselotte J. Billman in Nuremberg, Germany. He retired from the U.S Army where he was an Air Calvaryman in Vietnam and worked as a Mechanical Draft Man for 25 years. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara J. Mac and brothers, Thomas Billman and Michael Billman.
He is survived by his wife Lieselotte J. Billman of Columbus, GA, son, Timothy R. Billman of Fountain Inn, S.C, daughter, Terry L. Billman Galbreath of Columbus, GA, brother, Gerald Billman of Austin, TX, sister, Pamela Wyant (Ron) of North Perry, OH, brother, David Billman of North Perry, OH, and 1 grandchildren.
