Rita Mae (Hutchinson) White

Rita Mae Hutchinson White, 92, of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Otis Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Rita was born September 18, 1928 in Mobile County, AL to the late Lee Hutchinson and Tromie Lee Brown Hutchinson. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Grace Johnson; brother, Felix Hutchinson and grandson, Matthew White.
She worked at Dinglewood Pharmacy for 36 years and J&J Pharmacy for eight years before retiring in 2010.
Survivors include her children, Marie Bennett (Les) of Gainesville, GA, Rita Golden (Jimmy) of Columbus, GA, Carl White (Susan) of Locust Grove, GA; grandchildren, Michelle Rutherford (Tony) of Gainesville, GA, Tara Lindsey (James) of Jacksonville, FL, Rachel O’Berry (Michael) of Columbus, GA, Jessica Lee (Chris) of Jackson, GA; 8 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and nephews, Ronald Lynn of Columbus, GA and Felix Hutchinson of Hampton, TN.
