Ricky Pickett, 62, of Columbus, GA, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016.
The memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 16, 2016 Carlisle Baptist Church 835 S. Berthe Ave. Panama City, Florida 32404 according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ricky was born in Dallas, GA on October 20, 1953. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country for 4 years. Ricky was married to Sheila Pickett on August 28th, 1972 and were happily married for 44 years.
Ricky was a dedicated truck driver, working for Florida Rock & Tanks Lines for 10 years. He was a man who enjoyed life to its fullest, never hesitating when it came to having fun and putting a smile on the face of others. Ricky loved to help people. He was always willing to go the extra mile for anyone. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Ricky is survived by immediate family- his wife, Sheila Pickett, his daughters, Delainya Urness and Melissa Franklin, son, Kenneth Pickett, and many other family members.
