Rickey Joe Flournoy, 65, of Hamilton, GA died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Chad Phillips officiating. A private family interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Rickey was born September 5, 1952 in Topeka, KS son of the late Johnny T. Flournoy and Maella Brown Flournoy. He worked for The Glidden Company and was a master carpenter.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda and Sharon.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Sutton Flournoy and daughters; Tammy Fulleton (Kyle) and Becky Clark (Jarrad), four grandchildren; Whitney, T.J., Elizabeth, and A.J., his siblings include Ann Flournoy Haynes, Powder Springs, GA and John D. Flournoy of Austin, TX, and many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
