Mr. Parker was born June 10, 1946 in Trenton, NJ son of the late Robert Parker and Helen Michaelchuk. Professionally, he owned A-Affordable Locksmith Company where he was known by many for his cheerful nature and dependable work. Richard's perfect day was spent on the golf course where he effortlessly exhibited his special talent in the company of his daughter, son-in-law, and friends. He was very social and was often found with family and friends where he brightened people's days by joking and sharing stories. He loved to sing and had the most beautiful voice. Richard was the type of man who lived compassionately, would do anything for anyone and touch so many lives in so many ways. He lived for his daughter, Tara, whom he referred to as "His Sunshine" and they will forever share their unbreakable bond.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Parker.
Survivors include his daughter, Tara Parker Stieghan and her husband, Kurt of Denver, CO, the mother of his daughter, Marilyn Moore of Columbus, GA, siblings, Robert Parker, Judy Sheridan, Billy Parker, Jimmy Parker, and Steve Parker, step-children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Marilyn Moore and Steve Parker, "the godfather", for having a special place in his life as his best friend and companion.
