Richard Dale Hand, 61, of Fortson, GA died Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Columbus Specialty Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 11, 2022 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend Mickey Adams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at Riverdale Cemetery.
Richard was born January 14, 1961 in Lynchburg, VA to the late James Harold Hand and Sherry Gissendanner Swain.
Other than his father, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Ronnie Swain and his brother David Hand.
Survivors include his mother Sherry Swain of Fortson, GA; daughter, Melanie Malone of Woodstock, GA; brothers, Michael Hand of Fortson, GA, William Hand (Lisa) of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Kaylee Malone of Woodstock, GA, and Tristan Malone of Woodstock, GA.
