Richard W. Clegg, Jr., 68, of Phenix City, AL died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 25, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Grant Parker officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Clegg was born November 9, 1944 in Columbus, GA son of the late Richard W. Clegg, Sr. and Elizabeth Culpepper Clegg. He was a 1962 graduate of Jordan High School. He worked as a realtor for 43 years at Solid Source, and he attended Epworth United Methodist Church in Phenix City, AL. He loved being a realtor, and was a lifelong bulldog fan. He never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone.
Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Noblin (David) of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Gregory Brown of Ft. Eustice, VA and A.J. Brown of Columbus, GA, former wife and lifelong friend, Linda Clegg, step-daughter, Lisa Curtiss, and step-grandchildren, John Curtiss and Stephen Curtiss.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial donations to your favorite charity.
