Rheba Battley, 73, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 13, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dan MacMinn officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the funeral service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Battley was born March 25, 1939 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late John W. and Ethel Linder Benefield. She retired after 37 years as a Registered Nurse and Director of the Operating Room at St. Francis Hospital. She was a 1957 graduate of Jordan High School and a 1960 graduate of GA Baptist Hospital. She was also a member of Hilton Terrace Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur A. â
