Ret. SGM Leonard Harrison “L.H.” Miller, 97, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Piedmont Regional Hospital.
A military graveside service will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 face coverings and social distancing will be required during the graveside service.
Leonard was born June 1, 1923 in Buffalo, OK to the late Ralph Frank Miller and Ophra Breeze Miller. He was a Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army and fought in WWII and the Vietnam War. He raised horses and loved to hunt.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shelly M. Miller of Columbus, GA.
