Ret. 1SG Harold Hiraldo Lusano, 85, of Columbus, GA died Friday, February 28, 2025 at Piedmont Midtown.

Funeral Services will be held 9:00 AM Friday, March 7, 2025 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held following the visitation at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.

Harold was born March 3, 1939 in Lahaina, HI to the late Juan Bravo and Elizabeth “Betty” (Belisa Lozada) Lusano. Harold committed 22 years with the U.S. Army and then an additional 30 plus years with the Civil Service department. He strove to receive higher education to which he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Troy State University. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family and friends. In his leisure hours, Harold enjoyed league bowling, keeping his lawn, and loved his Atlanta Braves and Falcons. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church of Columbus, GA.

Harold is survived by his wife of 62 years, Irene Schneider Lusano of Columbus, GA; daughters Florence Bozeman of Acworth, GA and Valerie Keyrouze of Columbus, GA; son, Anthony Lusano (Jessica) of Midland, GA; sisters, Loretta Berdon of Capt. Cook, HI and Linda Alcain of Kealakekua, HI; grandchildren, Casey Land, Cody Land, Justin Keyrouze and Hayden Hesler, great-grandchildren, Maverick Land, Boden Lusano and Micah Land, Kailyn Vannoy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
