(Ret.) MSGT Frank Heady, 90, of Columbus, GA died Monday, December 12, 2011 at VistaCare at Franciscan Woods.
Cryptside services with full military honors will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Chapel of The Pines Mausoleum at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Aaron Baldridge officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
(Ret.) MSGT Heady was born May 14, 1921 in Wehrumn, PA son of the late John and Elizabeth Heady. He retired after 24 years from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant having served in World War II, Vietnam War, and the Korean Conflict.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Maddox Heady, six brothers, David, John, Joseph, Alexander, Andrew and Nicholas, and his infant sister.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, one great great nephew, step-son, Keith Callaway, and four step-grandchildren.
