Rebecca “Becky” Ann Lake Carrier Rackley, 74 of Box Springs, Georgia died Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Rivertowne Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday January 11, 2024 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Wednesday 10, 2024 at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery following the service.
Rebecca was born July 2, 1949 in Columbus, GA to the late Sarah Helen Harris Lake and Argus Ray Lake. After graduating from Jordan High School Rebecca worked as a childcare worker due to her caring nature and love of children. Rebecca loved watching the Hallmark channel, spending time with her family, and was a member of Schomburg Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Marshall Lee Rackley, Jr. of Box Springs, GA, children, Jennifer Carrier Pitts (Billy) of Tallassee, AL, Lisa Carrier (fiancé Michael Stevens, Jr.) of Box Springs, GA, Marshall Lee Rackley, III (Tammy) of Cooleemee, NC, Marsha LaVail Miguel of Box Springs, GA, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and her sister, Janice Mullis (Al) of Franklin, NC.
