Rebecca "Becky" Brawner Wynn 85, of Hamilton, Ga. died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Kindred Hospice.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, September 29, 2017 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Brother Jack Wallace officiating. Interment will be held in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery West Point, Ga. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus.
Mrs. Wynn was born December 17, 1931 in Chipley, Ga. (now Pine Mountain, Ga.) daughter of the late Jim Byrd and Francis White Brawner. Becky retired as the Clerk of Superior Court in Harris County, Ga. and was a member of Altman Memorial Baptist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Other than her parents a brother and sister, Mrs. Wynn was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years William R. (Bill) Wynn, Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Sara Frances Wynn Taft and Robin Rebecca Wynn Gibson (Ken) both of Hamilton, Ga., sons, William R. "Billy" Wynn, Jr. (Carole) and Charles L. Wynn (Kelly) both of Columbus, Ga., brother and sister-in-law, John Huel and Geraldine Wynn of Hamilton, Ga., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice 8301 Franciscan Woods Drive Columbus, Ga. 31909.
