Rebecca Ann Hastie 62, of Columbus died November 05, 2017 in Columbus, Ga.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 09, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Hastie was born July 19, 1955 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of the late Robert Franklin and Janie Agnes Gardner Crew. Mrs. Hastie worked for AFLAC as a Executive Administrative Assistant and was a member of Wynnton United Methodist Church. She loved going to the beach, art, cooking, animals and most importantly her grandchildren.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Hastie was preceded in death by her sister, Eleanor Crew and brother Robert Franklin "Bubba" Crew, Jr.
Survivors include her husband Ian Hastie of Columbus, Ga., daughters, Wren Dickens (Richard) of Hamilton, Ga., Lindsay Cathey (Mike Frost) of Columbus, Ga., sons, Reid Christian Scrivner (Stephanie Thompson) of Cleveland, TN., and Gregory Garrett Cathey of Columbus, Ga., seven grandchildren, Hannah, William, Emily, Ethan, Evan, Walker and Eleanor.
Flowers will be accepted, those so desiring may make contributions to the East Alabama Humane Society 712 13th Street, Phenix City, Al. 36867
