Reba Nell Goolsby, 90, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, July 8, 2021 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. M.R. Hamilton officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Reba was born March 26, 1931 in Pahokee, FL to the late Copie Peaden and Ezra Lee Peaden. She enjoyed staying at home with her children; she was a wonderful cook and seamstress. She was a member of Gentian Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for 30 years. She was also associated with NARF- National Association Federal Employees. Reba and her husband were active in the church. They enjoyed watching sports together and traveling with their friends. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Woodrow Goolsby and her brother Buddy Peaden.
She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Boho of Waverly Hall, GA, Lynn Mathews (George) of Phenix City, AL, grandson, David Mathews of Phenix City, AL.
