RayNell Melott Butler, 82, of Salem, AL died Saturday, March 31, 2018 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Pastor Michael Greer officiating. Interment will be held at Crawford Society Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Butler was born April 8, 1935 in Oklahoma City, OK daughter of the late Verbel Raymond Melott and Jewell Gunter Melott. She was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Butler, Sr.
Survivors include her children, Dennis Phillips of Smiths Station, AL, Bobbie Jo Butler "B.J." of Salem, AL, Robert W. Butler, Jr. of Phenix City, AL, Sharon Phillips, Susan Phillips and Debra Phillips all of Oklahoma, 8 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
