Raymond R. Greer, 90, of Columbus, GA died Friday, March 26, 2010 at Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held 11AM Monday, March 29, 2010 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Wood officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Greer was born April 6, 1919 in Chattahoochee Co., GA son of the late George P. Greer and Addie Sizemore Greer. He worked as a Lab Technician for RC Cola and was a Deacon and member of Crystal Valley Baptist Church. He was also a WWII Veteran. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Leila M. Fogarty Greer.
Survivors include his son, Bob Greer of Columbus, GA and several nieces and nephews.
