Ray Holland Dees Jr, 71, of Phenix City died February 22, 2025, at his home residence in Phenix City, AL with his wife by his side.
There will be a celebration of life at Upatoi Baptist Church,13400 Macon Road, Upatoi GA 31829. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 12 Noon.
He will be interned at Ft Mitchell National Cemetery.
Ray was born December 24, 1953 in Cabarrus County, Concord North Carolina to the late Francis and Ray Dees Sr. He was a veteran of in the US Army and was deployed in Vietnam. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Two good Conduct Medals, He received expert marksmanship in rifles and pistol.
Being a retired Communication Engineer, he loved his man cave with all the electronics equipment.
He is preceded in death by Father Ray Dees Sr, Mother Frances Dees and Son Anthony Booker. He is survived by his wife, Sally Dees, (Daughter) Carey Dees, (Sister) Pamela Andenes (John), (Brother) Timothy Dees, (Son) John Booker (Crystal), Samantha Booker and Eight Grandchildren.
