Randall "Randy" Gene Briggs, 67, of Smiths, AL died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Piedmont Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Pastor Danny Courtney officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Briggs was born October 19, 1950 in Columbus, GA son of the late James C. Briggs and Helen Watson Briggs. He worked as a Hauler for Swift Spinning Mills.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Scott Briggs.
Survivors include his siblings, Jackie Price of Columbus, GA, Freddie Briggs (Denise) of Conyers, GA, Cathy Moyer (Bob) of Smiths, AL and Garry Briggs (Tammy) of Phenix City, AL, 13 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
