Ramon Cruz-Sabater

Ramon Cruz-Sabater, 88, of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held 9:30 AM Monday, September 13, 2021 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery following the service.
Ramon was born October 08, 1932 to the late Ramon and Ana Cruz. He served his country for twenty seven years in the U.S. Army. He was married to his loving wife Teresa for sixty one years before her passing in 2013. Mr. Cruz-Sabater was Catholic by faith, and loved watching his Atlanta Braves and professional wrestling.
Mr. Cruz-Sabater is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Teresa Cruz-Sabater and one daughter, Linda Nance. Survivors include seven children, Carmen Thomas, Jesus Cruz, Ramon Cruz, Curtis Cruz, Jeanette Loop, Jerry Cruz and Angela Cruz Gary. Ramon also leaves behind numerous grand and great grand children.
