Ralph W. Satterwhite, Jr., 88, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday September 18, 2018 at his residence in the Spring Harbor Community.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday September 20, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery.
Mr. Satterwhite was born May 23, 1930 in Columbus, GA to the late Ralph W. Satterwhite, Sr. and Myrtle Harp Satterwhite. He was a 32 Degree Mason with the Rose Hill Masonic Lodge #484, a member of Green Island Country Club, Sons of the American Revolution, Columbus Executive Club, Kiwanis Club of Columbus, and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Mr. Satterwhite retired as the owner of his business of Satterwhite Food Service, which included Coca Cola Food Service distributorship.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Edith Faber Satterwhite of Columbus, daughters, Linda Gail Satterwhite Hawkins (Thomas) of Atlanta, GA, Sherry Ann Satterwhite of Atlanta, GA and Dr. Yvonne Edith Satterwhite (S. Wayne Carey) of Atlanta, GA, a son, Mike Ralph Satterwhite of Texas, and two grandchildren, Christopher and Nicole Satterwhite Carey.
