Philip Arrie Henschel

Philip Arrie Henschel died at his home in Salem, Alabama on February 28, 2020. Family visitation will be at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Ellerslie, Georgia on Tuesday March 3, 2020 at 10 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am. Rev. David Lawson will officiate.
Philip was born March 23, 1973, he spent most of his formative years in Jonesboro, Georgia, graduated from Landmark Christian School and soon after joined the US Air Force. Philip enjoyed playing the drums and was a member of several bands over the years. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved hiking, camping, fishing, and most of all going to the beach. Philip attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Ellerslie, Georgia. He also recently attended Cascade Hills in Columbus, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his brother, Ben.
Philip is survived by his wife and best friend Michelle Henschel, his daughter Arrie Henschel of Augusta, Georgia; his parents Dr. Tommy and Carol Henschel of Ellerslie, Georgia; his step daughter Brooke Hendrix of Salem, Alabama; his sister in law Christy Ellerbee of Columbus, Georgia; sisters Hallie (Jim) Trainor of Social Circle, Georgia and Tricia (Todd) Mitchell of Panama City, Florida; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
