Philip Eugene Harris, Jr., 36, of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Hilderbrand officiating. There will be a private interment in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Philip was born July 11, 1974 in Columbus, GA to Ivy Rowe Harris and Philip Eugene Harris, Sr. He was a graduate of Columbus High School and attended several local colleges. He was the owner of Harris Transportation, LLC.
He loved cars, music, racquetball, and playing with his three dogs Spud, Molly, and Lola.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil Eugene Harris, Edith Lurline Mitchell Harris, Lewis Drake Rowe, Jr. and Vernice Marie Oswalt Rowe.
Other than his parents, he is survived by a large loving family.
