Perry Bolding, 86, of Phenix City, AL died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be held 12PM Noon Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Evangel Temple Assembly of God with Reverend Paul Thomas and Reverend Toby Newsome officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, AL. Friends of Evangel Temple will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Bolding was born July 4, 1924 in Louisville, GA son of the late John Thomas Bolding and Louise Turner Bolding. He drove a truck for 12 years with Champion Buildings and worked the last 26 years as the custodian for Evangel Temple. Mr. Bolding was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Golden Acres Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Bolding of Phenix City, AL, sons, Terry Lee Bolding (Carol), Benjamin Thomas Bolding and Bobby Joe Bolding all of Phenix City, AL, grandchildren, Valerie Lynn Hood (Eric) of Phenix City, AL and Theresa Mendoza of the Phillipines, great grandchildren, Elijah Hood, Addison Hood, Janus Kwong, and Wendell Kwong, and a great grandchild, Camilla Kwong.
