Peggy Randall Leech, 85, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Edgewood Presbyterian Church 3617 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. George Haugen officiating. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Michael Leech, Matthew Leech, Clayton Richards, Columbus Roberts, IV, Taylor Snell and Chandler Snell. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Leech was born July 3, 1932 in Memphis, TN daughter of the late Jack Randall and Marjorie Smith McCarroll. She was a homemaker and an active member of Edgewood Presbyterian Church for 48 years. During that time, she served as an elder and worked with the LOGOS After School Program. Mrs. Leech was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary and a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital and the Garden Club at Green Island.
Her life revolved around spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Milton Leech.
Survivors include her children, William M. Leech of Atlanta, GA, Joan Leech Roberts of Columbus, GA, Marjorie Leech Richards (Hank) of Phoenix, AZ, David R. Leech of Columbus, GA and Lisa Leech Snell (Rick) of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Michael Leech, Matthew Leech, Mary McKie Roberts, Clayton Richards, Columbus Roberts, IV, Taylor Snell, Chandler Snell and Sara Grace Richards, and great-grandchildren, Rayleigh Roberts, Wyatt Roberts, Charlotte Roberts, William Leech, III, Matthew Leech, Jr., Ruby Leech, Catherine Leech and Margaret Leech.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Edgewood Presbyterian Church or to the American Cancer Society 233 12th St. #710 Columbus, GA 31901.
