Peggy Joyce Ledbetter

Peggy Joyce Ledbetter, 84, of Columbus, GA., passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Vitas Hospice in Winter Garden, FL.
A Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday November 14, 2015 at Parkhill Cemetery. Her son, Wayne Ledbetter will officiate according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Ga. 31907.
Mrs. Ledbetter was born June 6, 1931 in Columbus, GA. the daughter of the late Clancey and Louise Hughes. She received her high school diploma and went on to be Manager of Gulf States Mortgage Company for over 10 years. She attended Evangel Temple for over 20 years, was a hard working, unselfish (always putting others first), person who enjoyed fishing and planting flowers.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Grady Ledbetter.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Laine McCarthy of Ocoee, FL., her son Steven Wayne Ledbetter of Canton, GA., four grandchildren, Nathan Ledbetter, Emily McCarthy, John Ledbetter, Austin McCarthy and one great grandson Graham Ledbetter.
