Pearl Catherine Hensley, 89, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Scott Hagan officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Hensley was born May 21, 1921 in Johnstown, SC daughter of the late William and Lucy Walker Speed. She was a homemaker and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, T.W. "Gene" Alderman and Clement Hensley, her daughter, Carol Jean Alderman, and two sisters, Montene Wilson and Alma Spires.
Survivors include her two sisters, Marian Purtle of Columbus, GA and Elise Causey of Columbus, GA.
