Pauline C. Crosby, 86, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Vista Care at Franciscan Woods.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, June 10, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Andy Merritt officiating. Interment will be held 10:00 AM Monday, June 11, 2012 at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Crosby was born October 21, 1925 in Vero Beach, FL daughter of the late William H. and Alice Hudson Cone. She had lived in Columbus, GA since 1958. She was a homemaker and a former member of Wynnbrook Baptist Church and an active member of Edgewood Baptist Church where she was in the Joy Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Gallops Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert E. Crosby, one brother, three sisters, and a son-in-law, Doug Gass.
Survivors include her two daughters, Paulette Bragg (Michael) of Columbus, GA and Linda Gass of Kingston, TN, four grandchildren, Emily Ferguson Little (Sean) of Columbus, GA, Shannon Ferguson of Baton Rouge, LA, Brian Gass of Vernon, CT, and Andrea Gass of Chicago, IL, sister, Leola Mae Sands of Greenville, FL, two brothers, James Cone of Warner Robins, GA and Herbert Cone of Gainesville, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Edgewood Baptist Church 3564 Forrest Road Columbus, GA 31907.
