Paulette Bridges Spradlen

Paulette Bridges Spradlen, 80, of Columbus, GA passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Piedmont Midtown.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, January 13, 2025 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Jared Owens and Lane Jimmerson officiating. Interment at Parkhill Cemetery will follow funeral services.

Paulette was born March 27, 1944 in Savannah, GA to the late Shepard Allen Bridges and Carrie Louise Clements Bridges. She enjoyed keeping in touch with her beloved friends and family. She was a member of Glenn Anthony Baptist Church and enjoyed participating in their Sunday School Class. She was a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser for the State of Georgia and was a member of the VA Panel. She worked at Cliatt Appraisal Company with William "Bill" P. Cliatt for many years and later opened her own company, PBS Appraisal Company, until she retired in June 2019.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Spradlen, son, James “Jim” Spradlen, Jr., grandson, Bradley Scott Kee, sister, Juanita Bridges Lucas (Jack), and brother Andrew “Bud” Joseph Bridges (Jeanette). She is survived by her daughter Kathy Kee (Gerry) of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Dustin Kee of Columbus, GA and Carrie Ann Spradlen of Gadsden, AL; special nieces, Jacki Bedingfield (Henry) of Dublin, GA, Gay Bridges Doles (Jim) of Cleveland, GA and Kim Bridges Bennett (Scott); special friends, Shirley Stanley, Rhonda Tutherow, Melissa Williams, Lane Jimmerson, Glenda Nevels, Sylvia Williams, Barbara Bell, Ben and Teresa Dodds.
