Paul Watford, 86, of Columbus GA, died Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at his residence.
Due to the public health crisis a private funeral service will be held for immediate family members only Friday, March 27, 2020 in the Chapel of Pines Mausoleum in Parkhill Cemetery. A public Celebration of Life Service for family and friends will be held at a date to be determined after the Covid-19 pandemic has subsided.
Paul was born October 15, 1933 in Graceville, FL. to the late Samuel B. Watford and Maude Taylor Watford. He retired as a Supervisor at West Point Pepperell, was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, he loved spending time with family and loved to fish. He also enjoyed spending time helping others and repairing small engines. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Paulette Kelley and granddaughter Kimberly Woodrum.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, JoAn Watford, children, Neva Watford, Belinda Baker, LaDon Watford (Wanda), Amy Watford, sister, Nell Cason, grandchildren, Brandi Watford Harden, Brittney Allen Meyer (Michael), Chris Woodrum (Shannon), Caleb Watford (Danni), Mayson Watford, Joshua Watford, great grandchildren, Camryn Harden, Shelbie Bible, Julianne Meyer and several nieces and nephews.
