Paul E. Myers, Jr., 60 of Ellerslie, GA died Monday, February 20, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Wilhite officiating. The family will receive friends after the service according to the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Myers was born January 26, 1952 in Spring Grove, IN son of Paul E. Myers, Sr. of Commerce, GA and the late Ruth Crawford Myers. He was a consultant for Toronto Dominion Bank. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He loved riding motorcycles and going camping.
Survivors other than his father include his wife, Lawanda Thompson Myers of Ellerslie, GA, son, Aaron Russell (Lisa) of Virginia Beach, VA, daughter, Amy Russell Burkett of Port Jervis, NY, brother, Malcolm Myers of Commerce, GA, sister, Selena Eddings, grandchildren, Connor Russell, Haley Emma Russell and Sara Russell, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church 7556 Old Moon Rd. Columbus, GA 31909 or to Open Door Community House 2405 2nd Ave. Columbus, GA 31901.
