Patti Diane Blanton Owens, 54 of Columbus, GA died Saturday August 4, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday August 7, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA with Dr. Don Wilhite officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening August 6, 2012 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Ms. Owens was born September 8, 1957 in Columbus, GA to Eloise Sellers Blanton of Columbus, GA and the late Billy Blanton. She was a supply clerk with Martin Army Community Hospital and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors other than her mother include a son, John M. Brown, Jr. (Kimberly Haywood), grandchildren, John M. Brown, III and Layla Taylor all of Columbus, uncle, Joe L. Sellers (Patricia) of Columbus, aunts, Linda Murphy of Valley, AL and Patricia Horne (Robert) of Phenix City, AL.
