Patsy Brinson McKenzie of Columbus, GA died February 6 2016 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend Nate Lehman officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM Harmony Cemetery, 700 Ponder St. Richland, GA 31825. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. McKenzie was born July 30, 1952 in Nashville, TN to the late Harold Edwin and Dorthea Ranstrom Brinson. She retired from Columbus Regional. Ms. McKenzie was a loving mother and grandmother who had a passion for singing. She graduated from Dougherty County High School in 1970.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Tammie Eve Brinson.
Survivors include sons, Edwin McKenzie (Anita) of Leesburg, GA, Jeffery McKenzie and Danny Hartin II both of Columbus, GA; daughter, Victoria Nicky Nasal of Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Heather and Haley Cruz, Maddox Nasal, Seth Taylor McKenzie, and Jaydon and Braily Hartin; brothers, Jackie Brinson (June) of Brunswick, GA and Harold "Sonny" Brinson, Jr. of Savannah, GA; and her loving caregivers, Danny and Mitzi Hartin.
