Patricia "Pat" Ann Phillips

Patricia Ann “Pat” Phillips, 76 of Cataula, Georgia passed away at her home on Sunday, September 18, 2022 in the care of her loving family and Columbus Hospice. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.  She was a member of Greater Life Baptist Church in Midland, Georgia.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Emmanuel Baptist Memorial Gardens, Preston Road, Cataula, GA with Pastor Jonathan McNeese officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Pat was the youngest of 10 children. She was born on May 6, 1946 in Lincoln County, Georgia, to Robert and Lizzie Saggus.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 8 of her siblings.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Gene Phillips; children Amy Doolittle (Kim Streifel) and Chad Phillips (Lori); 4 grandsons Scott Doolittle (Shannon), Bryce Doolittle, Austin Phillips, and Noah “Sam” Phillips; great granddaughter Scarlett Rae Doolittle; sister Virginia; and best friend Billie McKenzie.
