Patricia Diane Pittman, 70, of Columbus, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at home surrounded by family.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 3007 Howard Ave. Columbus, GA 31904 according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Diane was born July 15, 1945 in Charlotte, NC to the late Walter and Madeline Weinhold. She was the oldest of four girls: Paula Weinhold, Karen Weinhold and Kathy Mottola (Angelo). She graduated from Garinger High School in 1963. Diane married the late George D. Pittman and moved to Tampa, FL where she raised two sons: Robert T. Pittman and M. Patrick Pittman (Kimberly). She had two granddaughters: Katharyn Spencer (Jonathan) and AnnaLeigh Pittman. She had two nieces: Sophia Nicholson (Robert) and Angelina Helms (Matt).
She is survived by one uncle, Charles W. Holtzclaw, cousins, and great nieces and nephews.
Diane loved her family with all of her heart and knew that Families are Forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer 233 12th St. #710 Columbus, GA 31901.
