Patricia Sue Dozier Martin, 81, of Columbus, Ga. died Wednesday May 26, 2021 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday June 1, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907, with Dr. Don Wilhite and Dr. Mike Knowles officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service.
Patsy was born September 3, 1939 in Juniper, Ga. to the late Benjamin Ira Dozier Sr. and Annie Kate Belk Dozier Smith. She was a retired LPN and worked at Home Care Services. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Columbus, Ga. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Nig Martin, brothers: Johnny Dozier, Bennie Dozier, Carl Dozier, sisters, Sara Milner, Rebecca Dozier, sons: Gregory Martin, Matthew Martin and great-grandson, Jackson Martin.
She is survived by her son, Larry Martin (Kay) of Columbus, Ga. daughter, Judy Coulter (Kenny) of Columbus, Ga. Grandchildren: Juston Martin (Jamie) of Lizella, Ga. Josh Martin of Columbus, Ga. Lucas Martin (Darela) of Columbus, Ga. and their mother Janice Tidwell of Columbus, Ga. Christie Sprinkle (Heath) of Georgetown, TX. Brandy Eldridge (Mickey) of Columbus, Ga. Jake Tucker (Brittney) of Mauk, Ga. and Cody Coulter of Mauk, Ga. Great-grandchildren: Gracie Eldridge, Ellie Eldridge, James Eldridge, Hailey Eldridge, Christien Eldridge, Tyler Tucker, Jarrett Martin, Morgan Sprinkle, and Peyton Sprinkle, sisters: Betty Niles, Nancy May and brother, Denton Dozier and special family friend Rose Lewis.
