Patricia Chandler Clayberger

Patricia Chandler Clayberger, 64, of Columbus, GA went to be with our Lord and Savior with family by her side on Thursday, November 29, 2018 after bravely fighting ovarian cancer for nearly two years.
Patricia was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was born October 29, 1954 in Meridian, MS, daughter of the late Robert Edward Chandler and Minnie Castle Chandler. She retired after 30 years as a Post Master Secretary and was an active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She loved singing and decorating and always enjoyed cooking new recipes for her husband Paul. Her greatest passion was for her family and friends. She was fiercely loyal and had the heart of an angel. Patricia tirelessly gave of herself to anyone in need, prayed over friends and loved ones, and with a servant's heart put others first.
Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Paul Clayberger of Columbus, GA, daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Jeff Fountain of Columbus, GA, Jerri and Ashley Alford of Powder Springs, GA, and Tracey Parsons of Dacula, GA, son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Rebecca Chandler of Canton, GA, and brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Chandler of Waverly Hall, GA, 13 grandchildren, Payton, Brent, Lane, Zayne, Gavin, Thomas and Meagan, Paige, Braydon, Christian, Ryan, Vanessa, Mason, and two great grandchildren, Blair and Christian.
A celebration of Patricia's life will be held 2 PM Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 16117 GA- 315 Ellerslie, GA 31807 with Dr. Tommy Henschel officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 7 PM Monday, December 3, 2018 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in memory of Patricia Chandler Clayberger to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) Atlanta, 600 Celebrate Life Parkway Newnan, GA 30265.
