Patricia Anne Wrenn Barfield, 73, of Phenix City, AL died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Mark Helms officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the home of Mr. Johnny Ellis Barfield, 3402 Carrington Place, Phenix City, AL 36867.
Mrs. Barfield was born October 6, 1945 in Gadsden, AL to the late Mary Cason Wrenn and Clyde C. Wrenn. She graduated from Cobb Hospital School of Nursing in Phenix City, AL and then worked for 20 plus years as an LPN in the medical profession and also as a business manager.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Johnny E. Barfield of Phenix City, AL, brothers, Jerry Wrenn of Columbus, GA and Bruce Wrenn (Mary Jane) of Columbus, GA, sister, Melissa Bass (Glenn) of Eatonton, GA, aunt, Martha King of Gadsden, AL, goddaughter, Heather Hoffman Gayles of Phenix City, AL, and a special niece, Jennifer Jones of Ft. Gibson, OK.
