Oris C. Sikes

Oris C. Sikes, 85, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, October 29, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Moore Main Post Cemetery at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Oris was born September 5, 1938 to the late Otis Coleman and Thelma Coleman. She gave back to her community by being a devoted Minister at the Church of God. She was very family oriented and enjoyed making memories with her loved ones to last a lifetime. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband John R. Sikes and she was the last of five girls and left behind are many loved nieces, other family members and friends.
She is survived by her son, John Roger Sikes of Columbus, GA, daughter, Katie Herrmann of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Logan (Kourtney), Nolan, John, great-grandchildren, Paxton, Porter, Dylan Sierra, Zoey, Brealynn and Julie Ann.
