Opal Naomi Williams, 84, of Columbus, GA died Monday, December 28, 2015 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend David Rathel officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williams was born October 17, 1931 in Donaldsonville, GA daughter of the late George and Thelma Henry. She worked as a tax clerk for Columbus Consolidated Government and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Dozier Mitchell Williams of Columbus, GA, 4 sons, George M. "Mitch" Williams (Laura), Tony Michael Williams (Robin), Randal "Randy" Jay Williams (Sonya Davis) and Dozier "Bill" Mitchell Williams, II (Renee), 7 grandchildren, Michelle Barrentine (Chris), Jason Williams (Ashley), Gil Williams, Ashley McGreevey (Mike), Lauren Eldridge (James), Kristen Williams (Kyle) and Shelby Williams, and 8 great grandchildren.
