Oliver Joseph Logacz, 65, of Columbus, GA, died Sunday, August 3, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 9, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Logacz was born December 28, 1948 in Debrecen, Hungary, son of the late Imre Logacz and Helen Horvath. He was a United States Army Veteran and later became a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for 30 years working at the North Hollywood California Office. Mr. Logacz enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, riding his bicycle, and going to the beach where he liked to surf. He loved a variety of music and had a great love for animals.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Richarda Walton Logacz; two daughters, Lori Ann Logacz (Fiance, Craig S. Sawa) of Granada Hills, CA and Jennifer Teague (Husband, Jesse Teague) of Columbus, GA; one brother, Laszlo Logacz; one sister, Cady Kepley; one grandson, Charles Teague; and several nieces and nephews.
