Norma Jean Harmon, 80, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Beallwood Baptist Church 4650 Veterans Parkway Columbus, GA 31904 with Rev. Billy Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Harmon was born July 10, 1938 in Darbyville, OH daughter of the late Raymond Jesse Collins and Agnes Catherine Fabiny. She was a homemaker and a member of Beallwood Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Peter Huddleston.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, John D. Harmon, Sr., step son, John D. Harmon, Jr. (Wendy), step grandchildren, Adam Harmon and Joseph Harmon (Rebecca), step great-grandchildren, Kallon, Hunter, Caleb, Camden, and Caitlyn, adopted daughter, Sheila Joy Harmon and granddaughter, Ashley Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.
