Noah Junior Freeland

Noah Junior Freeland, 94, of Columbus, GA died Monday, December 3, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Freeland was born November 8, 1924 in Lochalley, WV son of the late Henry Freeland and Scenia Crane Freeland. He retired from the U.S. Army having served in World War II as a Sergeant and later worked in Civil Service as an Aircraft Technical Inspector.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katharina Schneider Freeland, son, James N. Freeland, brother, Thora Freeland and sister, Evelyn Tillman.
Survivors include his daughter, Scenia Ita of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Caleb Freeland of Marietta, GA and Chelsea Duncan (Jordan) of Canton, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
