Nell Frances Roberts Russell, 97, of Columbus, GA died Friday, December 31, 2021 at her residence.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, January 7, 2022 at Riverdale Cemetery, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Nell was born August 25, 1924 to the late Vannoie Daniel Roberts and Ellen Code Roberts. She graduated Columbus High School in 1941 and became a homemaker to her family. She attended Holy Family Catholic Church and then moved to St. Anne Catholic Church. She loved living in Columbus, GA; she was born at home and grew up in the Lake Bottom area. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clinton Russell, Jr., daughter, Elaine Russell Woodall and grandson, Allen Musgrove Woodall.
