Nathan Todd Wombles, 31 of Phenix City, Al died Monday, April 27, 2015 in Russell County. Memorial services will be held 3:00 P. M. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Nathan was born November 23, 1983, the son of Jerry W. Wombles and Mary "Bunny" Finley Mathis. He was a hard worker and was outgoing and loved his family very much. Nathan was a 2002 graduate of Russell County High School.
Nathan is preceded in death by Calvin and Betty Wombles and Donald and Willadeen Finley, his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Jessica Wombles; parents, Jerry Wombles (Kathi) and Mary "Bunny" Mathis (Steve); his children, Champ Wombles, Kimberlyn "Yak Yak" Wombles; five brothers, Zachary Mathis, Steven Mathis (Christy), Scott Mathis,(Allison), Danny Mathis (Jenifer), Bryant Riley; and two sisters, Shera Lawton and Tori Riley; father-in-law, Kim Curlee; mother-in-law, Theresa Reese; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Curlee; brothers-in-law, Morgan Curlee (Haley) and Dean Curlee (Ruby); and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.
