Natalie Danielle Childs, age 42, passed away Sunday March 13, 2022 at St. Francis Emory Hospital in Columbus, GA following a brief illness.
Natalie was born November 28, 1979 in Columbus, GA to Daniel B. and Denise Hunter Rudder. She graduated in 1998 from Pacelli Catholic High School and attended Auburn University. She worked for a number of years in the family business, GFA Compressors, Inc. before moving to Florida. Later she enjoyed working with her animals in her pet business in Hiawassee, GA. But her true love and passion was for her daughters, Bella Rose and Lily-Ann. Her conversations were always centered on what they were involved in and how proud she was of them. Her family grieves as her life was far too short.
Surviving family members include parents, Daniel and Denise Rudder, daughters, Bella Rose Childs and Lily Ann Cecilia Childs, stepson, Preston Childs, sister, Elizabeth Ann Rudder, brother, Cad Andrew Rudder, wife Tracy and nieces Briggs and Kate Rudder, and her "own special aunt", Barbara Rowand. She leaves behind her fiancee and faithful companion, Eric Barkwell and a host of family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held in Hiawassee, Georgia, April 9th with Pastor Steve Taylor officiating.
