Nancy Reese Thompson 72, of Columbus died Friday, April 15, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 18, 2016 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thompson was born July 09, 1943 in Columbus, Ga. daughter of the late Larkin "Blackie" and Emma Jean Reese. She retired as a Medical Assistant with Columbus Cardiovascular Surgery and was a member of Victory Heights Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband Thad Thompson and her brother Robert Reese.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Thompson (Susan) of Fortson, Ga. and Scott Thompson (Michelle) of Columbus, Ga., two brothers, Dennis Reese of Phenix City, Al., and Tulian Reese of TN., four grandchildren, Jessica Thompson, Joshua Thompson, Nickie Thompson and Matthew Navas and a special aunt and uncle Irell Self and Bill Reese both of Fortson, Ga.
