Nancy Long Green, 67, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Columbus, GA.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Dr. Tommy A. Henschel officiating. A burial service will be private. The family will receive friends following the services at funeral home.
Mrs. Green was born January 17, 1950 in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late Homer Thomas Long and Virginia Cooper Byrd. She attended Smith Station High School and owned Country Side Hardware. Mrs. Green later worked for West Hardware, Lowes and retired from Home Depot.
Survivors include her life- long partner of 29 years, Rita Gray of Columbus, GA, daughter, Ginger Drinkard (Butch) of Phenix City, AL, sons, Bill Green (Brandy) of Waverly Hall, GA and Mike Green (Mardelle) of Smith Station, AL, brother Gene Long (Shirley) of Carrollton, TX, sister-in-laws, Pauline Long of Montgomery, AL, Cheryl Long of Pleasant Hill, TN, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
