Nancy E. Furney, 85, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, March 27, 2010 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clark Standard officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Furney was born November 12, 1924 in Macon, GA daughter of the late Jessie Alvie Roberts and Lena Woodall Roberts. She worked as a Cashier at Walmart and attended Beallwood Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Furney and her sister, Lucille Ard.
Survivors include her nieces Linda Smith of Savannah, GA and Darlene Van Valkenburgh of Raleigh, NC.
